BCCI Insist MS Dhoni To Retire From IPL, In Order To….

There are lot of talks about two new t20 leagues as both CSA T20 and UAE T20 leagues have teams of IPL owners. Things got spiced up when reports started claiming that MS Dhoni is all set to participate in South Africa T20 league as a mentor of CSK’s based franchise.

It is learnt that CSK owned team of South African T20 league is set to be named as Joburg Super Kings and former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming is expected to take the role of head coach.

When asked about Ms Dhoni participation in this league, BCCI Official said to Indian Express, ” BCCI has already cleared that no Indian player including domestic players can take part in any forms of the game. If any players wants to take part in these upcoming leagues he can only do so when he cuts of all ties with the BCCI”.

“These rules will be same for everyone and if MS Dhoni wants to be mentor of any such league then he has to retire from IPL and in future also he can’t participate in IPL in any form.”

The inaugural South African Franchise cricket league is set to take place between January and February 2023.
