BCCI Found Application From Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Virender Sehwag For Selectors Post Check The Full Details Here

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sacked the Chetan Sharma-led selection committee after the exit of the Indian team from the T20 World Cup 2022. Along with this, the BCCI had also invited applications for the five-member committee. And now, some bizarre news came from the BCCI official’s end, which shocked everyone, even the BCCI officials.

When the BCCI officials opened the ‘mail box’ to check the bio-data of the candidates for the national selection committee, they were surprised to find applications containing the names of Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virender Sehwag. Not only this, but Pakistani captain Inzamam-ul-Haq also presented his candidature for this post.

However, it was spam mail. All these biodata were sent by some fake people from spam email ids who intended to make fun of BCCI.

BCCI has received more than 600 email applications for the five-member selection committee. Some of these have been obtained from fake IDs.

A BCCI source informed, “We have received about 600 applications. Mails from Dhoni, Sehwag, and Tendulkar were also found from fake IDs. Fake people are wasting the time of BCCI by doing this. Now the Cricket Advisory Committee will shortlist 10 names for the post of selectors”.

The process of selecting will be concluded soon. The BCCI last month sacked the Chetan Sharma-led selection panel following India’s semi-final exit from the T20 World Cup. However, this panel will continue to function until the candidates are not selected for their places.
