The Indian squad for the three-match ODI series has been announced and under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, many youngsters have been picked for the upcoming West Indies tour. No senior player has been asked for any rest and the squad looks like a rich mixture of young and experienced players.
Rajasthan Royals captain and young wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson has got a chance to utilize his potential and he is making a comeback to the side after the Sri Lanka tour. Jaydev Unadkat has also been added to the ODI squad which might be a surprise for Indian cricket fans. The fast bowler from Delhi Capitals, Mukesh Kumar has been also added to the ODI Squad.
Ishan Kishan is another wicket-keeping option apart from Sanju Samson. Hardik Pandya will look after the captaincy duties. In the fast bowling department, Umran Malik has made his place along with Mohammed Siraj. The spin department for the West Indies tour belongs to Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Yuzendra Chahal.
