BCCI has announced the T20I squad for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa starting on December 10.
For this series, Suryakumar Yadav will continue as captain and Ravindra Jadeja has been appointed as the vice captain of the team.
The team is almost the same who is playing the T20I series against Australia. Prasidh Krishna who turned out to be the expensive bowler in the third T20I against Australia has not get any place and Deepak Chahar has been named in the team.
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal will as usual keep their place as openers in the team. Jitesh Sharma and Ishan Kishan are the two specific wicket-keepers for the team.
Senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested while Hardik Pandya is still recovering from the injury.
