Bangladesh Appointed New Captain For The ODIs Series Against India

Opening batter Litton Das became the new skipper of the Bangladeshi team in the upcoming series ODIs series against India.

Bangladesh Cricket Board appointed him as the new leader after the regular skipper Tamim Iqbal was ruled out from the series due to a groin injury.

Earlier, Liton led the team in 2021 against New Zealand in the T20Is when regular skipper Mahmudullah was injured.

However, Liton Das is also getting condensation from the Bangladesh cricket board. He was appointed as the new vice-captain of the Bangladesh Test Squad when Shakib was appointed as the test captaincy role.

Wicketkeeper batter Liton Das made his debut versus India at Mirpur on 18th June 2015. He has played 57 ODIs matches and has scored 1835 with a remarkable average of 35.28, and his highest individual total is 176 runs.
