BAN vs NZ: Bangladesh Gets A New Captain For The Third ODI, Star Players Also Make Their Comeback Before 2023 ODI World Cup

Bangladesh Cricket Team will go through a major change as they will enter into the third ODI. against New Zealand. The third and the final ODI of the series will be played in Mirpur and Bangladesh will come up with a new captain for the last ODI and that is Najmul Hossain Shanto.

Furthermore, Bangladesh has revamped its lineup and welcomed back several World Cup-bound players who were rested in the earlier games. This includes players like Tamim Iqbal, Mustafizur Rahman. On the other hand players such as Mushfiqur Rahim, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, and Shoriful Islam have made their way back into the team, while Soumya Sarkar, Nurul Hasan, and Khaled Ahmed have been omitted from the lineup.

Shanto had to deal with a hamstring injury during the Asia Cup, which prevented his participation in the Super Four stage of the tournament. He will now look to have some good preparation before the 2023 ODI World Cup.

In the World Cup 2023, Bangladesh will play their first match on September 7 against Afghanistan in Dharamshala.
