The famous sports broadcaster and wife of star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Sanjana Ganesan is being applauded for cleverly replying to an online bully who made negative comments about her body on a Valentine’s Day post with her husband.
The celebrated cricket couple collaborated with the popular beauty brand L’Oréal to share a video on their social media accounts. The post received numerous positive comments praising the couple’s chemistry, and fans considered it a pre-Valentine’s Day special.
Despite the overall positive response to the post, Sanjana Ganesan was upset when a user body-shamed her.
A user commented, “Bhabhi moti lg rhi hai” (Sister-in-law is looking fat).”
Sanjana Ganesan responded to the troll and gave a lesson to him on his inappropriate remarks and questioning their character and education for making such comments. The now-deleted comment faced significant backlash from fans of both Bumrah and Sanjana.
“School ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar raho. Bhaago yaha se..” (You can’t even memorise the science textbooks from school and here you are commenting on female body shapes, scoot from here), said Ganesan in her reply.
Bumrah and Sanjana have regularly posted updates about their personal lives on social media ever since they got married in March 2021. Bumrah once faced criticism and trolls on social media during the 2022-23 season when he was not serving team India due to injury.
