Australian legend and 8 time World Cup winner puts Kohli at number 4 in fab 4 due to this reason

For the last decade or so four star batters have high-jacked modern era cricket-virat kohli, joe root, steve smith and kane williamson. The four batters popularly known as ‘The Fab Four’ have brought themselves a lot of respect but there are still arguments on who is the best among them. People regard them differently since it would be very difficult to choose one from the group of four known as ‘Top Four’. a prominent former Australian women cricketer Alyssa Healy put in her two cents about the matter recently. She placed Virat at the bottom among these Fab Four stating that this decision was made using an ‘analytical’ approach.

“They are all very good players. However, if I was just to look at statistics without consideration of anything else, I would say Kohli is number four. However, I actually think he should come first after all other parameters. But purely based on records alone, Kohli is sitting at the back among them according to me”. So when I analyze it; taking into account how often he plays cricket that’s where his figures come into play. Given the amount of cricket he plays and the pressure he faces, they are remarkable. But if I look at it analytically, he will be sitting fourth in my eyes,” said Healy during an episode of ‘LiSTNR Sport’ podcast

According to Healy, who has had an outstanding career having won the T20 World Cup on six occasions and the ODI World Cup twice, her list contained Joe Root at the third position, Steve Smith at the second while New Zealand’s Kane Williamson was in the top position.

She mentioned that while other batsmen enjoyed a lot of support from their teammates, Williamson was on his own most times and played a key role in determining the future of his country.

“Williamson has always carried the entire New Zealand team, while Virat has always been considered as the best player in this world. However, for him, there will always be someone else there with him. Rohit Sharma scores hundreds. KL Rahul can score a hundred too. Even at no 8 [Ravindra] Jadeja can get it too hundred marks wise. There is always someone else backing him up, in my view I feel if Williamson makes those runs then only New Zealand stand any chance at winning,” she said.
