Australia Announces The Playing XI For The 1st Test Against South Africa, Pat Cummins Takes The Captaincy Back

Australia will be hosting South Africa for the 3 test series which will start on December 17(Saturday). The match will be played at Gabba, Brisbane and for the same all the Australia have announced their playing XI.

Scott Boland comes in to the side as the replacement for Josh Hazelwood who has been ruled out from the series due to side strain. Michael Neser has been asked to sit down on the bench as the Australian captain Pat Cummins is making a comeback.

Opening slot remains the same with David Warner and Usman Khawaja. Marnus Labuschagne will play at no.3 backed by Steve Smith at 4.

Travis Head and Cameron Green will come to the no.5 and no.6. For the wicketkeepers’ role Alex Carey is the candidate.
