AUS vs WI: Mitchell Marsh’s Golden Words After Adam Zampa Being The Most Expensive T20I Bowler Of The Country

In the three-match T20I series between Australia and West Indies, the visitors won the last match by 37 runs. However, even after the defeat in the last match, Australia won the series by 2-1.

In this match, West Indies posted a total of 221 runs at the loss of six wickets which Australia failed to get and stood at 183 runs at the loss of five wickets. During Australia’s bowling, the star spinner of the team Adam Zampa turned out to be the utmost expensive and he spent 65 runs in his quota of four overs with one wicket in hand.

Meanwhile, the captain of the Australian Cricket Team, Mitchell Marsh has supported Zampa and claimed him as the most important player of the team.

The leg-spinner secured a crucial wicket by dismissing Roston Chase early in the innings. However, despite this setback, Russell and Sherfane Rutherford formed the highest-ever sixth-wicket partnership, propelling the Windies from 79/5 to 220/6. The visitors successfully defended this total and won the match by a margin of 37 runs.

After the match, Mitchell Marsh said, “Any bowler that comes up against that line-up on their day, it’s hard work,” Marsh said after the match. “He bowled some really tough overs tonight. The 19th (over), it’s probably the hardest over. We were banking on breaking that partnership at some stage and I held Zamps back there but unfortunately, we came off second best. Zamps is by far our most important bowler and probably our most important player in this team.”
