Just a few hours are left for the mega clash of India vs Pakistan in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. Both the teams are ready for this event and fans are speculating a super exciting contest between both the teams.
Both the teams have some super quality batters, some mind blowing bowlers and at the same time the high voltage match will play at Dubai International Stadium where spectators from the sub-continent will come to cheer their respective team. However at one hand India will miss the duties of Jasprit Bumrah, on other hand Pakistan will also find themselves weak in absence of Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was one of the reasons behind the 10 wicket victory against India during the 2021 T20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, former Indian great Kapil Dev has made some bold predictions and came with some interesting advice for this match. When asked to predict the winner for this match, Kapil Dev said that Team India looks so strong on paper but the game inside the ground will decide the result.
While talking to a youtube channel, Uncut, Kapil Dev said,”You can’t be sure about anything in T20. You can predict to some extent in ODIs and T20Is, but it is very difficult to predict in T20s. I will say that our team has experience and they are better, but we were better last time as well. So, it’s quite difficult to say anything.”
The former all-rounder added,”Still, if you go into stats and players, the Indian team is far better. But it all depends on how the side plays on that particular day.”
