While having a discussion with Star Sports, Rayudu shared India’s probable squad. The squad has a combination of experienced players and young talents, featuring some of India’s top players. This indicates an exciting performance ahead on the international stage.
For the openers, he has picked the skipper Rohit Sharma along with Yashasvi Jaiswal who got a superb hundred against Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL season. For the number three spot, he got Virat Kohli.
Surprisingly, Rayudh has picked both Riyan Parag and Suryakumar Yadav along with the hard hitter of Chennai Super Kings, Shivam Dube.
Rayudu has picked veteran Indian wicket-keeper Dinesh karthik ahead of Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan. He thinks that Karthik is a candidate who brings experience and stability to the squad.
While choosing the prime spinners, Rayudu has selected Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav who are doing great with their respective IPL team, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals.
