“All the best for…”Ex indian star gives a massive verdict on Pakistan’s qualification scenario

Former Indian fast bowler Sreesanth supports the USA over Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, to advance to the Super 8 in the T20 World Cup because he believes the USA, as co-hosts of the major event, “deserve it”. Pakistan was given a second chance on Wednesday when their rivals, India, won their match against the USA. This victory keeps Pakistan’s hopes alive for a spot in the next round of the major event through the remaining position in their group. India secured a tough 7-wicket win against the USA, which allowed the team led by Rohit Sharma to move on to the Super-8 stage.

Pakistan’s future in the competition is still uncertain. The team, known as the Men in Green, is relying on Ireland to help them out by beating the USA on Friday. This result would then depend on the net run rate to determine qualification. If the USA wins against Ireland, the Men in Green’s efforts will end disappointingly, even though they still have one more game scheduled for Sunday.

However, if luck is on Pakistan’s side and they manage to defeat Ireland in their last group match, they might advance to the Super 8 stage based on a higher net run rate.

The ex-Indian fast bowler believes it would be a miracle if Pakistan can advance to the next round.

“I don’t believe Pakistan is sticking to the necessary practices. They aren’t paying attention to their local leagues. All their famous players, such as Wasim bhai (Akram) and even Waqar Younis, agree that they need to overhaul the whole system. That shows what they’re doing wrong. I’ll just wish Pakistan good luck for the next World Cup. If they manage to turn things around from this point, it will be a miracle. I don’t think it’ll be simple,” Sreesanth, who appears as an expert on the ‘Caught and Bold’ show, told ANI.

Fans from Pakistan will be closely watching the match at the Florida stadium, where the USA will play against Ireland. The USA team has won two out of their three matches – one against Pakistan and another against Canada – showing good control, quickness, and talent.

Even though India won the game, the USA team played very well. Shivam Dube and Suryakumar Yadav stayed calm to help the Indian team, known as the Men in Blue, win the game.

Captain Monank Patel, Nitish Kumar, Saurabh Netravalkar, and many other talented players have impressed everyone with their great performances on the field.

Sreesanth believes that the co-hosts should move on to the next round and play against the best teams to keep their amazing journey going in this big event.

Pakistan will play their final game in Florida against Ireland on June 16.
