Ahmed Shehzad warns PCB to get exposed after Pakistan’s embarrassing show against arch rivals India

A few words in Hindi would suffice to convey the message. Ahmed Shehzad and former Pakistan captain strongly condemned the Men in Green, saying after a very bad loss to their fiercest rivals India at the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai on Sunday, that cricket has come to an end in Pakistan. An Indian legend and captain, Kohli was brilliant in his knock as he led ‘Men in Blue’ to a four-wicket victory over Pakistan. Following their second consecutive defeat, Shehzad took a jibe at the Men.

There are people who say the team had no system where players go by favor, but they were there before. We know everything. Unless we are sure that you are sincerely taking it in the right direction, we shall tell the truth about you to the whole world. There was only one sport left in Pakistan: cricket. And now that too has been done away with,” Ahmed Shehzad said while speaking on the show aired at Geo.tv.

The Mohammad Rizwan-led side registered a defeat in their opening match of the ongoing competition against New Zealand. Chasing a target of 321 runs, the hosts were bowled out for 260 runs in the 48th over by the Kiwis at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Moreover, former left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir shared his views on Pakistan’s miserable entry into the competition and advised that the national team’s selection policies by PCB should be redefined to focus not just on the PSL.

“I request PCB that PSL should not be a criteria for national team selection. The top performers from domestic Cricket should be your priority and not the PSL,” Mohammad Amir said.
