Raina requested Ajit Agarkar to select Shivam Dube in India’s World Cup squad, as he wishes to see Shivam Dube in the squad for the World Cup.
Raina took X and wrote, “World Cup loading for Shivam Dube! @imAagarkar bhai, select karo, please.”
Shivam Dube has been in red-hot form in the ongoing IPL season. The southpaw has scored 311 runs for CSK in 8 innings in the ongoing IPL season and is the second-highest run scorer after Ruturaj Gaikwad for his team.
Shivam Dube helped his team reach a mammoth score of 210, with Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring a brilliant hundred (108); however, it was Marcus Stoinis who played one of the best innings in the IPL season of 2024, scoring 124, helping Lucknow defeat CSK in their own backyard.
