Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav once again showed his brilliance in the longest format of cricket in the opening series encounter of the test series against Bangladesh. In the first innings, Kuldeep took 5/40, helped to restrict the host to just 150 runs, and helped Indian lead in taking lead of 254 runs. This is the third five-wicket haul for the veteran leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav, and he also became the first spinner of India to take a five-wicket haul in all three formats of cricket.

“Kuldeep Yadav was brought when Bangladesh had lost 3 wickets and they failed to read him. People think that china man or leg-spin bowlers need pace, but that’s not true. Kuldeep Yadav is the prime example for that,” Latif said.
Further, he added the Indian spinner is a bit slower than Rashid Khan, his variation and slower pace helped him a lot and the biggest mistake of the Indian team management for not selecting him for the T20 World Cup 2022.
“Rashid Khan bowls with pace, but Kuldeep is slower. You can deceive the batter in the air if you have a decent googly, leg-break, and flipper.
Bangladesh players can usually read the spinners, but Kuldeep didn’t offer them comfort. India’s biggest mistake was not playing Kuldeep Yadav in the T20 World Cup. Not everyone can read him. India needs Kuldeep in at least two formats,” said Latif
