Aakash Chopra Predicts The Number Of Centuries From Rohit Sharma’s Bat In 2023 ODI World Cup

Rohit Sharma was the highest-scorer during the 2019 ODI World Cup and fans are expecting the same performance from the Indian skipper in this year’s World Cup as well. Now former Indian opener and now a renowned commentator Aakash Chopra has made a huge prediction for Rohit Sharma in the upcoming marquee event happening in India.

In the 2019 ODI World Cup, Aakash Chopra scored 648 runs at an average of 81.00. Now at this ODI World Cup, he will open the innings with Shubman Gill or Ishan Kishan and he will look to replicate the same performance in this edition as well.

While talking to his youtube channel, Aakash Chopra said that, looking at the top-3 of India, we feel that we are the top contenders.

He said,”When we talk about the top three, it seems like who is better than us? Sare jahan se acha Hindustan hamara – you get a feeling like that from within because we have Shubman Gill alongside Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli will come after them.”

For Rohit Sharma, Aakash Chopra said,”Rohit Sharma has scored more than 9800 runs. He has scored 30 centuries, has an average of nearly 49, and a strike rate of 90. It’s almost similar in Asia. So you can assume that Rohit Sharma is going to hit you. If he plays all nine matches, he should score two centuries and one daddy hundred as an opener. I am expecting that.”
