Sarfaraz Khan, the Indian cricketer who hasn’t been picked for the team, surprised people by losing 17 kgs. He wasn’t chosen for the current Test series against England, and his weight had been criticized before. Many thought this was a reason why selectors didn’t pick him, even though he’s played well.
But, the cricketer posted a picture online showing his changed look, which surprised fans. Kevin Pietersen, a former England player, also commented on the change and mentioned another player, Prithvi Shaw, who hasn’t been picked either.
Pietersen said, Great work! Congrats, and I think this will help you play better. I like that you’ve focused on what’s important! Let’s go! Can someone show this to Prithvi? It’s possible! Strong body, strong mind!
In other news, India has had some injury worries. Nitish Kumar Reddy is out of the England Test series because of a knee injury, and Arshdeep Singh won’t play in the fourth Test due to a thumb injury.
The BCCI said that Nitish Kumar Reddy is out for the rest of the Tests because of his left knee injury. He’s going home, and the team wants him to get well soon.
Arshdeep, who hasn’t played in the series yet, hurt his left thumb while practicing in the nets last week. The BCCI’s medical team is watching how he’s doing. Anshul Kamboj from Haryana has joined the team as a replacement and is already in Manchester with the squad.
