Breaking News: West Indies creates history in Pakistan to win their first ever test after 3 decades

Spinner Jomel Warrican took five wickets as the West Indies won a Test match in Pakistan for the first time in almost 35 years on Monday.

The West Indies beat Pakistan by 120 runs at Multan on day three of the second Test to level the series 1-1.

Pakistan had beaten the West Indies in the first Test, also in Multan, by 127 runs.

Warrican finished the match with nine wickets, bringing to 19 his tally in the series, giving the hosts a taste of their own medicine on spin-friendly surfaces.

The Men in Maroon went on to win the previous test match in pakistan way back in 1990 in faislabad. They have earlier been clean swept in the previous two visits in 1997 and 2006.

Starting their innings from 76-4 Pakistan failed to negotiate with the quality spin of West Indies. Pakistan had high hopes from Saud Shakeel but spinner Kevin Sinclair dismissed him denting Pakistan’s chances to make a comeback.

Babar Azam top scored for Pakistan in the second innings scoring 31 runs. West Indies had earlier given the target of 254 to pakistan.
