The renowned Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli will turn 35 during the clash against South Africa. The match is scheduled to be played at the Eden Gardens on the 5th of November. Before this, Pakistan will also play at the same venue in Kolkata against Bangladesh on October 31. Meanwhile, the star wicket-keeper of Pakistan Mohammed Rizwan wished a happy birthday to Kohli in advance.

The wicketkeeper-batsman for Pakistan seemed to be in great morale during the practice session before the match against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens.

While practicing in-ground, Rizwan had a lighthearted conversation with India Today – Aaj Tak. During this chat, he was questioned about the upcoming match between India and South Africa at Eden Gardens. In response, when asked about Kohli’s birthday falling on the same day, he extended his best wishes to Kohli.

Rizwan said, “It is nice to know that his birthday is on the 5th of November. Wish him all the best and a happy birthday, though I don’t celebrate mine and I don’t believe in that. Wishing a great one to Virat. I hope he can get his 49th ODI hundred on his birthday. And I wish him that He could also get his 50th ODI century in this World Cup.”

Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam was also asked the same question about Virat Kohli’s 35th birthday, but he chose not to respond. In the ongoing World Cup, Babar has faced challenges with his team’s performance and his own individual form.
