Former Indian cricketer and one of the renowned commentators of today’s World, Aakash Chopra has named a player who is for him the find of the tournament. The statement came after his blistering knock against Australia in which the Kiwis unfortunately lost the match by 5 runs.
In a day game on Saturday, October 28, Australia chose to bat first in Dharamsala and set a substantial target of 389 runs for New Zealand. Ravindra played an impressive innings where he scored 116 runs off 89 balls, but the Black Caps narrowly lost the match by a margin of just five runs.
While speaking about the chase of New Zealand against Australia, Aakash Chopra lauded the effort of Rachin Ravindra.

“He was there and Jimmy Neesham was there towards the end. Jimmy Neesham took the team extremely close to a win but it couldn’t happen. He got run out in the end. It was a full toss. It would have gone for a six if it had been slightly lower but it didn’t happen.”
